Todays Workout 9/4/2008

As I sit her in my living room and watching today’s beautiful Las Vegas sunrise I realize how lucky I am. I have come a long ways these past months and I am finally happy and healthier. If it wasn’t for my decision to get off my fat butt and do something about the way my life was heading which consisted of binge eating, being inactive and feeling sorry for myself; I might not be here today or at least my life wouldn’t be as healthy, active and full as it is now. The decision to do something about it and most importantly sticking to it through the ups and downs, saved my life and was the smartest thing I have ever done.

Now this mornings Cardio workout was a success and went just the way I hoped for.

It consisted of :

Treadmill: 40 minutes, 2.57 miles, Speeds of 3.8-5.0, added some incline @ 5-7% & some jogging  @ 5.2 mph, Heart-rate of 146-149. Just were it should be.

Stationary Bike: 21 minutes, 6.15 miles, Manual setting of Level 13-15,  85-95 RPM’s. Heart-rate of 144-149

No weight training today. I’ll be doing that on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I do always look forward to those sessions. I learn a lot and have fun too. Plus the energy I feel is awesome!

**Added Note…

For those that want to know what my eating plan consists of, I promise to try to add that in here by the weekend.

Time for me to go and get outside while it’s still cool out there.
