Well here are the results of my evaluation that I had today. I don’t want to sound egotistical but I did do pretty well. In my eyes of course I should have done better, but then again there is more to getting fit and healthy other than numbers. I am trying to change my fascination with the number and the vanity of how I look. It will take time but I will, with the help of my trainer (Chris) and the knowledge and expertise of Paul, both from RealResults Fitness, change the my way of thinking to benefit me in living and adapting a more healthy attitude and the real reason to loss weight is to live a healthy life and to do things that were once impossible.
So on that note here are the results that I was able to achieve over these past 8 weeks:
- Shoulders: 55¼, down 1¼ inches
- Arm: 15¾, down ½ inch
- Chest: 49½, down 1¾ inches
- Waist: 46, down 3½ inches
- Abs: 50½, down 3 inches
- Thigh: 27½, down 2 inches
- Calf: 18½, No change
- Total Muscle Mass: 89, down 14
- % Body fat: 32.82, down 2%
- Weight: 290.5, down 27 pounds
- Fat Mass: 95.34, down 15.21
- VO² Max: 25.74, up 4.92 (higher is better)
- Blood pressure: 127/78
- Resting Pulse rate: 69
So that is what happens when you push yourself and work hard, right? Well next time I hope for greater results or at least some change in a positive direction. It might not me a number change but a mental change and that’s just as important.
Also I was able to do more sit-ups per 60 seconds, but less push-ups due to a little bit of arm soreness from a previous workout.
I am really looking forward to what happens next and I am up for the challenge of whatever lies ahead. Which is some harder work.

Thanks so much. You and the other are so awesome.
Blogging sure does have it’s advatages and that’s why I am hoping that as a great community that we are that others can see what great support, encouragement and a awesome bunch of people we are so that if they are in the process of getting fit that they should come aboard and blog as well. I really do think that all this really helps contribute to making this journey sussessful.
I am hoping that I have learned enough these past 8 weeks to make the coming ones even more sussessful.
Now I have to start my goals list and have to turn them in to the trainer by Sunday. I am sure that it will help my progress as well. It sure has with you.

Rob, I couldn’t agree with you more. I think the support we all offer each other is beyond valuable. It is good to know there are others out there of like mind who are trying to achieve the same things we are trying to achieve.
