My name is Rob Perry and currently live in the great city/state of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Getting ready for a 16 mile ride at Lake Mead February 2009
What I am trying to do is to undergo the ultimate body and mind transformation using the best weight loss, and training strategies, and of course some incredible food! In this blog I plan on documenting my progress and showing the world that this endeavor that I am embarking on can be done with hard work, exercise and of course with a proper nutrition plan. Stay tuned to see what happens and the changes that occur. It’s something you’ll not want to miss.

Feedback on The Mortal Highground…Salvage your fitness Save your life
I visited your blog, The Mortal Highground…Salvage your fitness Save your life located at http://robfitness.wordpress.com/ recently. I must say, I’m quite impressed by the blog’s content. In particular, I really liked http://robfitness.wordpress.com/2009/01/10/about-setbacks/.
Good job!
I’d like to know if you’d be interested in having me as a guest writer for your blog. I am a features writer working with MiracleFruitPlus.com. I’d like to write a free 300 to 400 word blog entry for you. I have a few years experience and would really enjoy writing one or two guest blog entries for your blog.
If you’d like to take me up on my offer, please send me a topic and a quick outline of what you’d like the article to say. Please give me as much detail as possible so I can make the blog entry meet your specifications as much as possible.
In exchange for this free blog entry, I would like to request a linkback to MiracleFruitPlus in the body of the blog entry somewhere using the title tag “miracle fruit.”
I look forward to your response
Best Regards,
Mike Burlingame

Thanks Darrell! What a nice thing to say. I do work hard at it and it is well worth the effort. My ultimate goal is to get down to 210-220 Lbs. So I am almost there. Once I do reach my goal I plan to maintain and “Buff” up a little. Got to look good ant my age
I also will be attempting my other goal of doing a triathlon. That will be happening in April. I would like to run more but with my little knee problem I don’t think that is realistic.
You yourself have come a long way too. Your weight loss has to be commended as well and I envy the fact that you’ve done marathons. It takes a lot of motivation, determination and perseverance to do those.
So what’s the longest one you have run?
To do those you really have to be fit and mentally ready for them so it looks like you possess some pretty good qualities.
Keep up the great work that your doing and I truly hope that you figure out your sleep issue. That really has to be a pain for you. Be Strong my friend!

Hi Rob,
Thanks for your comments. Regarding interval training- 10 is way to high for someone not used to that intensity. Start low and slow.
Pay attention to how you are feeling while on the treadmill.
Play with the numbers on the machine.
